Chris LaRock:
Why are people on this forum so touchy? It seems like I offend people no matter what I say on here.
I wasn’t offended, and I’m sorry if I seemed to be attacking you. I just was worried that other people wouldn’t take the thread and run with it, using it to attack those two religions, and I wanted to remind them to look at their own beliefs first.

I think it’s important that people are 100% sure they are not following false prophets. It’s not the first time my motives have been misunderstood.

Chris LaRock:
What about spirit beings that, although confess Christ came in the flesh, preach a message that seeks to add to scripture?
John’s test doesn’t seem to require any other conditions besides confessing Christ came in the flesh. So I assume that is a necessary and sufficient test i.e., there is no need for us to place further conditions for the spirit to pass. Adding further conditions would be inappropriate, not to mention adding to the scriptures written by John. I doubt God would let a spirit pass John’s test and then let that spirit do anything in His name that is expressly against His will. If a spirit confesses Christ came in the flesh and relays further scripture to mankind then that is part of God’s plan.

I’m still wondering what the Muslims have to say on this matter…
