In your Quran, it is written that there will 124,000 Messengers for each Nation. Who are these messengers? It is also said that all Messengers will come from the Seeds of Abraham and after him more will come from the Seeds of Isaac and Jacob but also mentions that Adam is a Messanger. How is it possible that Adam is a Messenger? How can Adam be of the Seeds of Abraham? Who are these 124,000 Messengers?

No, that isn’t written in Quran, what is written in Quran are only 25, the 124000 are mentioned in one of the hadiths:
مشكاه المصابيح:
عن أبي أمامة قال أبو ذر: “قلت: يا رسول الله، كم وفاء عدة الأنبياء؟ قال: مائة ألف وأربعة وعشرون ألفاً، الرسل من ذلك ثلاثمائة وخمسة عشر جماً غفيراً”
Who are these messengers?
Only few names are identified, the majorities are not.
How is it possible that Adam is a Messenger?
Muslims point (Quran 2:33) as a reference for that.

Thing I don’t get, Adam was the first human and of course, man. How is it possible that Adam was a Messenger if 1. All Messengers will come from the Seed of Abraham 2. How can Adam be a Messenger if he’s several years before Abraham’s existance. 3.If there are 124,000 Messengers of Allah and they come from Abraham’s Seed, does that mean that the Chinese got a Messenger? The Japanese, the Koreans, and the Turks got a Messenger of Islam? Are they even from Abraham’s Seed?

well, NOT all, there is no authentic hadith that says ALL prophets came from Abraham.

Not all of them from Abraham’s Seed, again there is no hadith mentioning that whom came to whom, and the hadith I quoted you above is not 100% authentic one (i.e., not from Sahih Bukhari or Sahih Muslim) so that number could be inaccurate one.

where did you read that all prophets come from the seed of abraham ?

The Qur’an says that the Nation of Israel was given a special position by God and so had many Prophets, but by no means *all *Prophets were of Israel.

The guy is stupid the Qur’an doesn’t say every Prophet came with their own book. He claims it does by quoting the Qur’an as saying that every Messenger came with the command to serve God and eschew evil and obsesses over the word ‘command’, which firstly does not mean they have their own book and secondly isn’t even in the original text it’s a note written by the translator (which is why it’s in brackets) which if he’s an Arabic speaker he has no excuse for making such a mistake. He’s such a fraud.

The majority view amongst Islamic scholars is that Dhul Qarnain is Cyrus of Persia, not Alexander the Great.

I’m not convinced its right to view Islam by the Quran verse’s in specific. Without clearly understanding the entire context of the chaper in question, its a futile attempt to critically view the religion. Same would be with the Bible or any religion.

All cultures have to be viewed by the overall prevailing attitude. If a society in general becomes of evil intentions, then that becomes very obvious to the public. No different than Germany becoming a country under Nazi rule.

We dictate as each society does how we want to viewed by the world. Society in general is very tolerant. Yet when you reach that point as Germany did, then you become a society not only judged by the world, but by God himself.

Hopefully we can all learn to live in peace and have the sanctity of life prevail. Not according to religion, but to the better thinking of all society.

The world has never been unified, and I don’t see that happening any time soon either.

Hi Kadaveri,

According to Muslims, Quran is the last revealed book, Islamic teachings say thate were 225000 prophets, The prophets mentioned in Quran are same as in Jewish Books and Christian books. Hence these two are said in Islam as the people of the book. Now as you say that in your sentence

“by no means all Prophets were of Isreal”

dows it mean that the other prophets were given for other nations, like India, and so the religion Hinduism, Buddism, Sikism, and many others are all from these prophets, and if so why are these people not called the people of the book?
