I guess I can’t resist turning your question back on itself; is a church truly Christian if it does not uphold moral doctrine uniformly? I understand that they are not one of your communions, and they sure are’nt one of ours I don’t think of them as a Christian church. I get a very definite sense the UCC is more of political body than an organic Christian Church, you’ll have to scan the lists of the Lutheran Communions and see for yourself how many do not teach that there is an objective moral law inherently in Christ’s true Church.What do you mean by the bolded? How is the UCC one of my communions, other than the fact that, they too, are Christian (which makes them one of your communions, too)?
