Indeed it was. The only valid sacraments were adminstered by those in unity with the bishop, and the only true gospel preached was that which was received from the Apostles.I understand: Any church…where the word is taught and sacraments administered, is the church to which the apostles belonged when they walked the earth, as per the OP?
Actually I think denominations are visible elements taht we are disobedient to His Commandment that we be one, as He and the Father are One.Sort of. The church is people, not a denomination. Although denominations are visible elements of it.
I would contend that the church triumphant and the church suffering are also people.The Church Militant consists of people. And that’s why Catholic is not a denomination.
Yes!The One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church is not a denomination, all Christians are part of it. .
