I was just curious how the table of contents looks in various Orthodox Bibles. I’ve read the Orthodox accept more books than Catholics however it can be different for different Orthodox Churches.
I’ve read 3 Maccabees, 3 Esdras( 1 Esdras in KJV), the Prayer of Manesseh, and Psalm 151 are in Orthodox Bibles. I read Prayer of Manesseh appears in a book called Odes? What exactly is Odes? Also 4 Maccabees is in an appendix to the Greek Bible? I’ve read what we call 4 Esdras in the Catholic Church (2 Esdras in KJV) appears in Slavonic Bibles?
I find this interesting.
