Thank Our Lady! Mother has this habit of telling us to play with the other kidsTD, thank you so much for your comments, especially about prayer. Your response means more to me than you know.
That’s good. I don’t own a copy but you might consider Saint Alphonsus’s Visits to the Blessed Sacrament and Our Lady. Cheap versions should be available on Amazon. I’ll need to order it my self (I only have it in PDF).I feel that I am not too far off from this. I have prayed for guidance and it is good to know God is guiding me in the correct path (either that or we are both off in left field!). At my parish, there is a statue of Our Lady in the grotto which one has to pass through to get to adoration. I usually stop there first, and visit with Mary for a moment, asking her to escort me into her Son’s presence, and then ask her to help me to pray to her son in a way worthy of him.
Just remember it’s all about asking Our Lady to help us love Our Lord and performing all our actions in the spirit of Mary (humility, faith, charity etc.).
I own the Baronius Press edition. I should have been clearer though, what I meant was not so much the format, but readings etc., for each day to meditate on. Does the TAN edition come with them? If so I’ll need to purchase that one as well!I am using the method which came with the True Devotion book. A Franciscan priest suggested this particular book from Tan Publishers for fidelity to the original translation.
Ask Our Lady! She paid Bishop Sheen’s hotel bill, she’ll get you to that monasteryWaiting to hear back from the Monastery. Part of my heart was left in that place the last time I went there. It will be a treat for me to get back there, if God gives me the opportunity.
Any time.Thanks again TD.
