Greetings! First time to post, but a longtime viewer of this board.
I’m involved in planning liturgy for my parish, which also happens to be a minor basilica. The issue has to do with the fact that we’re required, by canon law, to celebrate various feast days related to the Petrine primacy, the first of which is the Feast of the Chair of Peter, which falls on February 22, which also happens to be ASH WEDNESDAY.
Question: does the feast day move to the following day…or previous day? Or is it skipped this year (which doesn’t sound right, but I figured I ask anyway)?
Thanks a bunch in advance.
