Mr. Keating, In our Bible Study today (we are studying Romans)
One of the questions was ARE WE UNDER THE DOMINATION OF SIN AFTER BAPTISM?
My answer was NO! I tried to explain my knowledge (what little I have) that we are Baptized into Christ Jesus who took our sin to the cross. I know He did not take our sinful nature away but I can’t see how we are DOMINATED by it.
Please tell me the correct answer so I can completely understand this as most in the class answered yes according to their understanding. God Bless you and I listen to you most day’s on the radio. Mary Tillman

Dear Mr Keating
We are studying the book of Roman’s in our Bible Study at our Church. One of the questions was: ARE WE UNDER THE DOMINATION OF SIN AFTER BAPTISM??
I answered NO, because my understanding is that when we are Baptized into Christ Jesus we are His Child and He does not let anything dominate us unless we would desire that to be and thereby we would have rejected Jesus. Thank you for taking time to answer this, as it is important that we find out soon. God Bless You

You should have probably posted this in the “Ask an apologist” forum.

The answer to this is simple: The grace of the cross alters the situation, so that it mutates from domination to “it’s our choice.”
