Question, How does one report suspected heresy

Just out of curiosity, I went back and read the post by the OP where the OP refers to the elevation.

Given the way the OP describes it, there is no way to ascertain what elevation the OP is speaking about; thus there is no way to presume that the Mass would be invalid. There would need to be more specific information before such a charge could be laid.

You might want to find out not only what page you are on, but also what book you are reading.

Here is what the OP said:The priest arrived to my parish this year, and during then huges changes have happened in his masses, for instance holdding the bread and wine at both the same time and saying this is the body of Christ, and not saying much else.

Sorry pal but there is enough here in black and white to at least question what is going on here, which is exactly what I did and in fact have some degree of responsibility to do. Of course clarification is needed but the OP’s actual words are cause for some concerns, possibly serious. One can infer from this statement that the OP himself is wondering what is going on at these masses as compared to what he normally experiences. I would suggest you read more carefully and post more thoughtfully brother.

Do you not consider it odd that the OP began a very confusing, unclear rant about what he “thought” he saw/heard, and then never came back to say yay or nay, thank-you, or anything whatsoever with regard to our answers? There are only 4 single posts attributed to this person, all of which express a lack of understanding.

Yet, here we are arguing about something we know very little about, particularly when the OP is absent and totally unclear. Had we come to know this person better through longer association with the forum, well then maybe we might say he was not just leading us into a war zone with one another, but has a real concern. There are people who hit and run on these forums, simply to instigate controversy, and we really can’t involve ourselves without more information.

There was adequate knowledge given for the OP to act responsibly, and this should have ended the matter. You are creating a secondary argument as to whether or not Otjm is perceiving correctly, for heavens sake.

He was questioning my perceiving correctly, you have it backwards. Between the title of this thread and what the OP actually wrote in his posts, there is more than enough to at least seriously question what is going on at these masses. No charges, just questions. I think we all agree clarification is needed here. If the OP doesn’t return, let’s move on, brother or sister.
