I replied to a quote from Genesis.
Mmhm. Jesus spoke in such depth about it.People’s opinions don’t really matter in light of God.
I think you must have pressed the wrong button, out shows up as a reply to my post.I replied to a quote from Genesis.
Looks like most people don’t agree with your interpretation of God is all.So God is dependent on people’s opinions?
I suppose if you think that God has no (name removed by moderator)ut or say into what a marriage is or whether it is merely a “social construct,” then perhaps you are correct. However, Jesus clearly stated otherwise.Marriage is a social construct, there is no natural marriage. Marriages can be formed up of multiple men, multiple women, same sex or opposite sex. Through history and across culture we have seen a tonne of different formats.
Well, theft, murder, rape, lying and all kinds of pernicious acts have “been going on for as long as we can trace,” so that is hardly proof of moral legitimacy. In terms of sex; homosexual sex has also been going on for as long as we can trace. It happens in nature, it happens all across cultures and times. I don’t think it can be a mockery when it’s likely as old as the thing it’s mocking.
On that other thread you couldn’t see the icon. I’ve checked other people and it works on chrome and firefox; what browser do you use?It shows up on mine just fine. I think your phone has problems since you mentioned something like this on another thread.
Okay, so if you look at your post at the right corner of it right near where it says how many minutes ago it was posted you should see a user icon. By pressing that icon you can see which post it was responding too.I am using Chrome.
Oh?Ah, quoting out of context. Old trick but still a good one I see. Harry, that was about the phrase “mocking”, not morality.
I was firstly combating the phrase “mocking”. People said it was mocking other marriage, but marriage has existed in so many forms that that idea is silly, savvy?Alex337:![]()

You didn’t, then, attempt to legitimize same sex marriage by claiming it existed through history and across cultures?
What did you mean to state, then?
So the icon at least does exist this time, that’s positive. Later I’ll try to remember to screenshot it for you. When I press it it shows the post that has the quote to Genesis.
So-called “loving couples” can do many things, including evil things.anon10271182:![]()
Sorry, friend, people no longer think loving couples are evil. The fact that national governments and voters have endorsed an abomination doesn’t make it any less of an abomination.
It isn’t clear that it “hurts” no one. I am pretty certain many have been hurt by homosexuality.Homosexuality isn’t immoral not because it’s existed for so long but because it hurts no one and helps many.
