Yes they were wrong. What exactly did I get wrong about the context? Those who brought context about Ancient Rome and Greece I do not disagree with

Well hear this well. I do not agree with the practice. I agree it was wrong. I only explained how it operated in society.

That is the claim but I suppose that’s why some can’t adhere to their confessional statements and reject even the most basic of Christian doctrines like the Trinity, the Divinity of Jesus or the Virgin Birth.

It doesn’t matter what religion the two men follow. Leaving the church doesn’t make your sin ok.

I wasn’t talking about anyone leaving the Catholic Church. I was talking about two Buddhists from India, for example.
 
Being of a different religion also doesnt make sin ok.

A Catholic murderer is a sinner.
A Protestant murderer is a sinner.
A Catholic who has homosexual sex is a sinner.
A Buddhist who has homosexual sex is a sinner.
(Get the Point here?)
Inserting another faith in here will not make it suddenly ok to sin. We all have a sense of right and wrong and deep in our hearts, if we are not mentally ill or children, we already know this.

You seem to have this notion that all gay people must feel deep down that they’re sinning. But it’s not true. Certainly those who come from very conservative religious backgrounds might feel like this, but others who aren’t from such a background wouldn’t. These feelings aren’t innate feelings but rather ones that people learn from their parents or the churches they grew up in.
 
And, while homosexual acts may be considered wrong by some churches it’s not considered wrong by the majority of people in many counties (Australia included); not because these people lack morality but because this particular thing doesn’t illicit the universal guilt that murder or theft does. Feelings of guilt due to homosexuality are instilled by a person’s religion, not by some innate morality.

I do not agree. If homosexual sin was considered normal by most people, most people would be pushing the gay agenda like you are. Its a demonic spirit causing these people to act out. The world is infested by sin, that is where it comes from.

We literally had a vote in my country; most of us think it’s normal 😊 and no, it’s not a "demonic spirit: causing my friends to live happy lives with the people they love, that’s a wee bit wacky sounding.
 
She was complaining when another poster was talking about the social majority that thought slavery was okay so I don’t know what happened. The Bible doesn’t really say anything good about the ways of the World.

We could literally have a vote in this country, and most people can agree that murder is ok. This will not make it ok to commit murder.

I know what I am talking about personally I have lived with this my entire life. I have had same sex attractions. They are caused by demonic spirits and only repentance and living your life according to the bibles teachings and the teachings of the church will end this problem.

I wont discuss whether I think two people of the same sex can fall in love. Its irrelevant. Its sin, and its wrong, and its a part of a conspiracy by Satan.
 
I don’t think anything can make homosexuality go away. And if it were a demon I’d suspect an exorcism would do so.

I’m sorry you feel this way. Loving relationships are beautiful and don’t seem to be caused by demons to me.
 
Ireland did have a referendum legalize abortion so it does show that something is wrong with the World’s way of thinking.
