Question: Mortal, Venial, or not really at all?

But to say that she is being blessed by Satan and is one of his own is going too far. You really shouldn’t say this to others. And you should not try to think this way either. Pray for her. She is a child of God.

I understand the kind and merciful intentions behind the ABOVE comment,
but I want to elaborate a bit here.

Jesus and the apostles in the NT over and over reiterated that those who Deliberately
PRACTICE serious sin, are not God’s children unless they repent.
They are God’s children in the sense of being descendants of Adam and Eve,
but they are not his Spirit-Led Children, and that is the ONLY sense in which
being a Child of God is Salvific.

Some of the Pharisees in Jesus’s day were very pious acting, would pray in public ((in order to be seen and praised by men, for THAT motive)), would look at the ground rather than risk committing a sin of Lust by looking at a woman. Yet some of these individuals
attacked Jesus, the purest man who ever lived, and called him Satanic.
Jesus did not refer to these individuals as a Child of God, he told them, because of their Wicked BEHAVIOR, “You are from your Father the Devil and you wish to do the DEEDS of your Father the Devil.”

You do not have to go the extreme of opposing Christ personally when on earth in the
Flesh, in order to be a Child of the Devil. ALL we have to do is take up, UNrepentantly,
the deliberate, hard-hearted practice of Very Serious Sin.
And stealing from your hardworking co-workers, robbing them of their daily bread so that YOU can take home an ENORMOUS paycheck, is depriving a worker of his Just Wages and is, in fact, one of the Sins that Cry to Heaven for Vengeance.
A person that practices one of THOSE sins, in particular, is definitely not
in any true spiritual sense a Child of God unless and until he or she repents and turns around.

I have to pray for her, and enrolling her perpetually in those very holy prayer leagues, which I HAVE DONE, is one way of doing so. But I am not obligated, and neither are you or anybody else, to do anything other than loathe, detest, and thoroughly abominate her deliberate, willful, remorseless and unbelievably dastardly behavior.

I do, definitely, want this situation solved. Preferably, by another job, although I find it loathesome and abhorrent that I am being driven from my job, which I do honestly, by a malicious person who is deliberately being tolerated and protected by those in authority.
I am also using a program which I shall not name, but is an internal resolution device,
to get BACK the money she stole from me AND remuneration for the pain and suffering her bullying, harassment and thievery, that they have enabled and allowed to go on,
has caused me, when they KNOW I have been under a doctor’s care since 1999 and on medications for depression, panic and anxiety. The job didn’t cause my pain and suffering. This person, and those who KEPT HER THERE knowing all this for many, many many months, DID.

**As for “father forgive them…” this is understood to refer to the Roman soldiers, but that’s an aside. **

True enough re the Roman Soldiers. But it is not limited to them
and does in fact refer to the High Priests who turned him over.
Peter says so explicitly in his statements to the Jewish crowds
who had heard the “tongues” and had gathered around him on that First Christian
Pentecost, quote,
" I KNOW that your leaders ACTED IN IGNORANCE…"
i.e., father, forgive them, for they do not know (understand, realize, comprehend) what
…they are doing.

Peace and blessings!!

by the way, because of this,
I had to have my doc find a new med and put me on it yesterday,
namely something called VIIBRYD. It is outrageously expensive,
the copayment ALONE is over $112.00 – just for that medicine alone, for a 30 day supply.

I also have been taking LUVOX, RISPERDAL (switched to Invega but cannot afford it right now, the copayment for IT is over $100 for 30 day supply), LITHIUM OROTATE
and also CLONAZEPAM, the generic form of Klonopin.

VIIBRYD is interesting. On the third day, have begun to notice some weird side effects, including feeling very “condemned” upon awakening. Odd. If this keeps up, I will have to switch to something else.
I briefly tried PAXIL, but after taking just a few doses, became simultaneously
Extremely Terrified and Extremely Suicidal ((only my beliefs kept me from doing it, but
the impulse was there, and I firmly believe it was THAT medication, as many others have reported the same reaction to it )).

Good luck with your new med. Feeling condemned every morning sounds rather grim. Good thing you figured out that Paxil was causing you trouble. I wonder how often new meds cause people trouble but the person never suspects the pills as the cause, since the side effect symptom can seem unrelated to why you are taking the pills?

By the way, I agree with you that it is not detraction to tell something that needs to be told for some reason. Sometimes you need to warn others or you need to tell a superior or you need to discuss the problem with a friend.

Also, I agree that it might not be prudent to automatically tell a woman who was raped that she needs to pray over and over again for her rapist. Sometimes a person needs to not think overly about certain events for a good long time.

Question:

Is it wrong to refer to a person who has robbed you blind,
continues to do so every chance she gets,
has no remorse, is belligerent about it,
gets worse when she is counselled by Superiors to stop it,
will not stop it, and has no remorse whatsoever,
has tried to get you fired for trying to prevent her Thefts (deliberately),
and breaks all rules and feels clearly that no rules at all apply to her
and is, definitely (because her pattern of behavior proves it 100% )
going to continue to rob you (and others) blind every chance she gets
— AND claims to be a catholic and THEREFORE knows better
than to behave like this —
as an “Evil B***CH” ?? (( not out loud to anyone else. but to yourself ??
I truly feel that this is what she is. When I try to “soften” my viewpoint of her,
and try to reconcile with her, as SOON as I demonstrate mercy to her,
she royally screws me and robs me again (( I am poor and cannot afford this
despicable and loathesome behavior )).

I truly do not feel like I am sinning at all by regarding her as such.
I feel that that is the ONLY way any SANE person can ACCURATELY regard her.

Is this considered a sin, and if so, venial or mortal ???
I don’t want her to die, or go to jail, or even be on the Unemployment line,
but I definitely want this person out of my life forever,
or at least until she gives evidence of some sort of repentance.
She is very good at FAKING being sweet to other co-workers
(( this is to make those, now over 25 people, who have reported her for thieving,
…bullying, fraudulent acts, etc, all look like Liars )),
but she is, deep down, not nice at all.
My friend Veronica, who never speaks ill of anybody, ever,
said of her, “She…is…EVIL”.
My other friend, Jill, one of the sweetest women you’d ever meet in your entire
life, bar none, says of her,
" She’s evil, Jaypeeto. I hate that heiffer. I don’t want that jive-ss heiffer comin’ NEAR me. They need to FIRE her sorry self."
Despite business suddenly plunging, she is continuing through cheating and SOMEBODY in the spirit-world BLESSING her,
to PROSPER like crazy,
and none of us, who believe in trying to behave ethically, can understand why ANYONE would be blessing this malicious person. We are certain that it cannot be GOD, so many of us have concluded that she is likely practicing Voodoo or something, because this is absolutely uncanny.
But the above part is a side issue.
What I’m asking is,
is it wrong, to regard in your heart
a person who is, in FACT, EVIL and belligerent, bullying, thieving, malicious and REMORSELESS, as an "Evil B
*CH."
I don’t want to offend God, but if I pretend that I do not regard her as such,
that too would offend God, for it would be lying and false pretense.

I have never dealt with someone before, like her,
who appears from the articles I have read,
to fit the description of a “Sociopath.” That’s very severe,
I know, but I have truly, despite over 50 years of life, and
despite having been around the block many times myself,
never encountered a person as falsely-sweet, malicious and malignant at THIS.
(( By the way, I am looking for other jobs, almost impossible to find in this economy,
…because I have had to ADD new antiDepressants/antiAnxiety medications to my existing regimen due to daily exposure to this person and the horrible anxiety it causes me now just to even be in the same building with her. ))
CCC 2303 Deliberate hatred is contrary to charity. Hatred of the neighbor is a sin when one deliberately wishes him evil. Hatred of the neighbor is a grave sin when one deliberately desires him grave harm. “But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.”

Jaypeeto4, you URGENTLY need to get out of that environment. If there is any way you can just quit and go live with family while you look for another job, you need to do it. I don’t think your mental health can take much more. You are clearly very very stressed and angry. No one is saying you don’t have a right to be upset, but I think you should forget about whatever you are doing to try to get your money back–just cut your losses and GO. If you were my son, I would tell you exactly this, and I have a hard time believing your parents would not help you to get out of that environment so that you can begin to heal your mind, body, and soul. There is no shame in that. And if a crime has been committed and there is substantial proof, then you need to involve the authorities in my opinion.
