Just wondering if anyone can clarify the following for me:
On Life is wortth living on EWTN, when Bishop Sheen writes on the chalk board, he always writes three letters in the top centre of the board. Can anyone tell me what these letters signify?

Thanks

J.M.J. = Jesus, Mary, and Joseph (the Holy Family)

He is invoking them and asking them to guide his teaching.

The 3 letters are JMJ signifying the names of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. In his autobiography, he started this tradition in kindergarten writing JMJ at the top of his papers.

Way back in ancient times–that is, when I was in grammar school–the nuns taught us to write J.M.J. at the top of every paper we wrote.

we wrote JMJD on top of every paper in grade school, for Jesus Mary Joseph and Dominic - we were taught by Adrian MI Dominicans, and taught very well, I might add.
