I forgot to mention something which may have escaped everyone’s attention.

Since Islam means submission to the will of the Creator and someone who submits to the will of the Creator is called a Muslim in Arabic, then every baby that has been born in this world since the time of Adam (pbuh) is a Muslim in the eyes of their Lord and Creator because they did indeed submit to His will by coming into this world.

Unfortunately, the problem here is that the one who welcomes them into this world is Satan and most babies eventually lose their innocence as a result of his constant prodding, either directly or indirectly through their family members.

But fear not, the key to salvation for all of these lost souls is to return to the state of submission to the will of their Lord and Creator i.e. to once again become Muslims in Arabic… or Mushlams in Aramaic, take your pick.
John 14:6
Jesus answered,

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

You do know the “Parakletos” is the Holy Spirit right?
The word “Parakletos” is almost certainly a corruption of “Periklytos” (‘the Much-Praised’), an exact Greek translation of the Aramaic term or name “Mawhamana”.

Not so sure about “Parakletos” but I do believe that “Periklytos” is very unlikely to be the Holy Spirit because nowhere in the Bible is the Holy Spirit referred to as ‘the Much Praised’.

But it’s implied.

I think u made such blatant errors here Hamba, I don’t want to embarass you or anything like that but your saying that
The word “Parakletos” is almost certainly a corruption of “Periklytos” (‘the Much-Praised’),
shows to all of us how subjectively blinded you are concerning Christianity by making this false accusation.

Your “Fitna” actually already being debunked &refuted many times, here it goes:
  1. U made a clear error by saying that “Periklytos” meant “Praised One” when the actual meaning is “Famous/Well Known”, and every reasonable person would easily undoubtedly affirm that "famous/well-known one " is different from “praised one” since many people can be famous but not all of them being praised for what they’re famous for (the famous serial killer for example). And for the sake of intellectual satisfaction in more specified explanation: the root word of “periklytos” mean “surround” and have nothing to do with “praise”
  2. If u apply this word “periklytos” in John 14, it would make a clear contradiction since one must have to assume that something Unknown had already been “Well-Known” before it appears, and even that ,in verse 17, clearly stated “The world neither sees or KNOW Him”, so again how can the Well-Known is also the “UnKnown”?
3.The word “periklytos” not even once appear in all of Synoptic Gospel and in all of variants of ancient Greek Gospel manuscripts.
an exact Greek translation of the Aramaic term or name “Mawhamana”.
Another statement that base on poor observation concerning Christian faith
There is no “Mawhamana” word in Aramaic (u’r not very well in doing your homework brother). The word that was being said by Jesus in Aramaic actually “MANAHMA”
which is meant as what is actually meant in Greek, that is “COMFORTER”
I do believe that “Periklytos” is very unlikely to be the Holy Spirit
hehe Agree…
because nowhere in the Bible is the Holy Spirit referred to as ‘the Much Praised’
. Agree…

Last, please base your argument on solid and reasonable ground, and not from those unscholarly moslem sites that desperately attempt on proving Muhammad in Bible myth.

Thx GBU 👍

Hi there & welcome to CAF ~

The only thing Hamba is good at is copy & paste from answering Christianity dot com and whatever Deedat claims to say.

This is not the first time we’ve discussed the “Parakletos” issue with him. 😃

Hope you enjoy your state and would love to see more of your posts…

I see Hammy is up to his old verbatim again… :blackeye:

Did someone mention “MANAHMA”?

Well, OK… Muslims try to be open-minded and consider all points of view:

youtube.com/watch?v=3RbVt8Us8aY
you… opened minded… you should try stand up comedy hammy.
You have been continuously refuted and shot down in flames with your copy and pasting from that ‘hammy’ website, but you still persist with your false propaganda.
Why not try some new material? It might help me take you seriously one of these days…

Another free lesson i wanna give to our ignorant jihadist friend…

Your Youtube video actually proving my point, showing what kind of intellectual level a Jihadist have…
  • Your youtube video affirm my previous explanation that the word is “Manahma” and not “Mawhamana”
-Sadly though the Youtube maker spelled the word right , but like other uneducated Jihadist he mistranslated it way…way… off… cause in Aramaic Manahma means Comforter or PARAKLETOS in GREEK

But you sure entertain us here…thanx for your joke btw…;)😉

The problem with examining the New Testament for accuracy is that the original Gospel of Jesus (pbuh), which is in Aramaic of course, no longer exists.

And so, people are using either the Hebrew or Greek translation as a basis… and then attempting to translate it backwards into Aramaic when it really should logically be the other way around.

And so, I don’t think that it is particularly wise or even sensible for us to argue and nit-pick concerning which between “Manahma” and “Mawhamana” is more accurate since the original Aramaic Gospel is no longer around to ascertain the truth one way or the other.

However, logically speaking, the next best course of action in order to obtain the most accuracy to the original scripture would be to examine Arabic and Aramaic words since they are both Semitic languages which share many cognates and similarities.

In this respect, Muslims are open-minded enough to accept that either “Manahma” or “Mawhamana” may well be the most accurate to the original words spoken by Jesus Christ (pbuh).

Wait… are you making a claim that a “Gospel of Jesus” existed at one time, written in Aramaic and it no longer exists…

Who wrote this “Gospel of Jesus”…?

When did was it destroyed…??

Site non-islamic sources

Thanks.

I think it was one of the several other non-inspired books that claimed to be written by the Apostles, Jesus and Our Lady. From what I head there was a ‘Gospel according to Mary’, a ‘Gospel according to Judas’ and a ‘Gospel according to Jesus’. They were not authentic, they were hoaxes so they were not added into the Canon.

It is best that I clarify that what I meant by the “Gospel of Jesus” is really the ‘Gospel of God’ which was revealed to Jesus Christ (pbuh).

Since Jesus spoke Aramaic, then it is only logical to assume that Almighty God would reveal His Gospel in Aramaic to the one whom He had anointed.

After his stay in a wilderness for forty days, Jesus entered Galilee preaching the ‘Gospel of God’. He admonished the people by saying: “repent and believe in the Gospel”. Mark 1:14/15. That was the beginning of his ministry. Jesus traveled throughout Galilee, proclaiming the Gospel in the various synagogues and healing. Matthew 4:23.

While traveling in the region, Jesus came to Nazareth where he had been brought up as a Jew. Following the Jewish custom, Jesus entered a synagogue on the Sabbath day. Here, he was given a Scroll of the prophet Isaiah to read. Jesus unrolled the Scroll and according to apostle Luke, read the following text from Isaiah chapter 61, that which spoke of him. The text clearly indicates the God’s purpose for anointing. It was to preach the Gospel to the poor and afflicted. Jesus is called “Christ Jesus” because God had anointed him.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he anointed me to preach the Gospel to the afflicted (poor)…" (Luke 4:18)

During the ministry of Jesus - long before the four Gospels that we read in The New Testament were written - his disciples following the footsteps of their beloved Teacher: “began going about among the villages, preaching the Gospel…” (Luke 9:6).

This was the ‘Gospel of God’ that Jesus (pbuh) had taught them.

Sori…bro, but in order to save u from further humiliation, I just want to teach you about how to present your case basic 101,

My bro…it’s so obvious that you still have much to learn in how to present your case in a debate, it seems that you will receive whatever garbage that being offered by Looners on Moslem site and desperately present it here in our Catholic site without ever checking it first whether the information that you receive is true or not. Such as the word “Mawhamana”. As I’ve already told u ,there are no such a word of “Mawhamana” in Aramaic, but it seems that your intellectual capability is still far from comprehending such a SIMPLE detail of truth, since u keep repeating this meaningless word “mawhamana” over and over again.

Btw from a most logical point of view it’s hard for me to become Moslem (I rather becoming Budhist or Agnostic instead), cause how can we believe this allah wts A Reckless God who LOST His own Holy Scripture? kind of childish God would u think?

It is best that I clarify that what I meant by the “Gospel of Jesus” is really the ‘Gospel of God’ which was revealed to Jesus Christ (pbuh).
Wrong. Jesus Christ IS the Gospel. The Gospel means ‘The Good News’, meaning the death and resurrection of the Lord.
Since Jesus spoke Aramaic, then it is only logical to assume that Almighty God would reveal His Gospel in Aramaic to the one whom He had anointed.
Jesus Christ WAS the Gospel, to which he revealed himself.

I can’t reply to the rest, I honestly have no idea what you are talking about.
