It means that they judged themselves deficient in knowledge… I think they later figured out the original basis for the dogmatic conflict, and are working on it for it is the sole reason for their lack of Communion between them, and in the meantime are permitting inter-Communion for the laity in Syria and Egypt…

Just a note…the Assyrians are not Oriental Orthodox. Still good information.
