The new Roman Missal (in Latin) has a table of “the principal celebrations of the liturgical year,” Tabella Temporaria. This is also mutatis mutandis in the Tridentine Missal p. 44.
The first column lists the years. The second column is entitled “Litteræ domin.” and contains the letters A, b, c, d, e, f, g in reverse alpha order. The “A” only is upper case.
