Question on starting the Rosary Novena

Hello everybody,

I have a very important, specific request to ask of God through the Blessed Virgin Mary. I have been praying the Rosary daily for about a week now, but tonight I have learned of the Rosary Novena, which is 54 days of the Rosary for a specific intention. Like I said, I have a very specific intention to ask for that is very important to me, and I will dedicate the 54 day Rosary Novena to that intention.

But here is my question. I have been asking for other intentions in my daily Rosary- for example- The intentions of the Pope, the souls in Purgatory, defeat of Satan and evil, my humility etc. Can I ‘lump’ these intentions into my Novena Rosary…or should I say one Rosary/day for my Novena Intention and another Rosary for my other intentions?..if I do the 2 Rosary- a-day plan (10 decades)…should I change the mysteries to reflect upon? or keep to the Monday mysteries both times, Tuesday both times and so on… Thanks for your help!

I am doing this Rosary and am praying for all intentions together god bless

…it is from my previous director. To do all things, including prayer, “as you can and not as you can’t”. I adopted it as I took to it immediately - reminiscent of the philosophy and spirituality of Little St. Therese of Lisieux. If one works on what one can, the time comes, with surprise, when one is doing what one could not previously. Blessings - Barb:)

I really like that, Barb and St Therese is my patron saint!
