Question on the methods for praying chaplets

I am confused about something and was hoping perhaps you could help. Now there are many many types of chaplets, and they all have their own prayers, but I have found some have more than one method for saying the prayers, a few are even dramatically different in fact.

What I would like to know is can one type of chaplet have different versions of prayers and if so do I just choose the one that speaks to me the most? Can anyone pray a particular chaplet in their own words or do all chaplets have a unique and specific form that must be followed? I think its probably whatever serves your faith the best but if the church has a specific way they want this done I’d like to know. Peace.

Chaplets are like the rosary, they are not a liturgy; therefore there is no formal, official way they must be prayed.

I agree. You can choose whatever form you would like.
