Question re office work \carreer

This is a question about where to bring my question. Is this the appropriate forum to discuss God’s views about work outside of the religious life? I think it is called ‘secular’ work but I could be wrong

Are you talking about “remunerative work” which is required of religious communities for financial support?

I am referring to work to pay the bills such as office work, waitressing, hairdressers. The things people do when they are not called to a religious life such as the priesthood or to be a nun
 
Probably the best place for a question like that would be in Faith and Finances, but the Family forum gets more traffic and I have seen lots of posts about jobs, careers, etc in there.
