Question regarding holocaust

Quick question. Do any of you see a problem with questioning the 6 million figure (of Jews being killed) during WWII under Hitler. I know there are some who question the number of 6 million. I don’t think anyone credible is going to argue that no Jews were killed, but I dont see a problem in questioning the number of Jews (please save the “does it matter how many… it was so bad…”.I kNow I know) or stressing the fact that just as many non Jews were killed during WWII. Also, if there were just as many non Jews killed during Hitler’s rule then why isnt that stressed just as much as the Jewish deaths?

I’m not sure this has anything to do with “traditional Catholicism”. There’s too much Jewish relations debates here already. No it’s not ok to blindly and bluntly deny that x number Jews were killed in the holocaust. We have enough contention already, do we need any more?

Only God knows exactly how many Jews died in the Holocaust. There were non-Jews also slain by Nazi authority as well.
Why quibble over numbers. The ghastly thing is that anyone died based on their belief in the One, True God.

SS-Obersturmbannführer Adolph Eichman is referred to as “the architect of the Holocaust”.

After his capture in 1960 by the Isrealis he confirmed a quote attributed to him from 1945: “I will leap into my grave laughing because the feeling that I have five million Jews on my conscience is for me a source of extraordinary satisfaction.”

This is the guy who organized the rounding up of the Jews across all of Nazi occupied Europe and their transportation to extermination camps. Eichman was the man who would have known the numbers.

Six million is the accepted number. Although Eichman’s organization transported five million, another million could have easily been killed by the SS during the German advance into Russia in 1941. Death Squads followed the German Army units and machine gunned Jews and buried them in mass graves near their villages.

Read the Nurnberg Trial transcripts. The people who ran these death camps never denied the mass executions, the gas chambers, the crematoriums and mass graves existed. They all tried to blame someone else for doing it or claimed they were following orders.

It is a travisty of revisionist history to claim today that it never happened.

I, for one, would like to see documentation of the Jews that were killed, or at least as much as possible.

From what I’ve seen, the 12 million figures comes from pre-Holocaust census numbers, compared to post-Holocaust census numbers.

Honestly, for as anal and record-keeping as the National Socialists were, I would prefer to see someone tally it all up, and give us a somewhat reliable count.

Plus, then it would end this stupid question.
