In reciting the Litany of the Saints in private devotion, do we add the 69th psalm after the Our Father or do we end with the Our Father?

I often see the 69th Psalm with additional prayers printed after the Litany of Saints and I have never been quite sure how to conclude.

If anyone could help me out with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

My Processionale Monasticum from 1893 includes the Our Father, but I see no reference to Psalm 69. I say that if it’s for private devotion, then go ahead and pray it if it draws you closer to God.

Check out this short thread.

I find it sad that you are frowning…The Holy Father himself was smiling a great deal as the youth and the seminarians were singing this.

I think it touched him deeply if the look on his face is any indication…🤷

Don’t be sad. I’m glad the Holy Father liked it.
