If a wife is using ABC and the husband objects and otherwise diligently tries to convince the wife to accept the teaching of the church on this issue, is it sinful to pick up the prescription as a matter of convenience for the spouse that is using birth control when asked to do so on occasion?

Imo, yes, because in picking up the prescription the husband is participating in her sin.

Would you pick up the prescription if you knew it could very well be causing the actual death of a pre-implanted human being?

I think it’s chutzpah to not only demand someone violate his conscience, but then expect him to do me a favor and go pick up the scrip.

Don’t pick up the prescription, and tell her why you won’t. She’s fortunate to have a husband who loves her enough to care about her body and to be open to having her as the mother of his children.

Thanks. I figured that was the answer. I appreciate everyone helping me put it in perspective.

We had a talk about the issue last night. I figured she was going to get mad about it. On the contrary, she was very reasonable and even felt bad about asking me.

It was good because it was another occasion for me to bring up NFP and the church teaching on this issue, without it sounding
like nagging.
