for confession to be valid do you have to intend not to commit not only you mortal sins again but also your venial ones?

I am wondering this because i have lied to someone about something and it will probably lie to them again about it in the future

You can never be forgiven of a sin that you totally intend to repeat because there is no contrition. Confessing without repentance amounts to empty words…God Bless…teachccd

If you have a good reason to be lying… (like protecting a young child from the brutal fact that he was conceived during rape) it isn’t really lying… that’s called prudent compassion!

What I wonder about is this: ** How can I make a good confession KNOWING that I will probably fall to a particular sin again even though I hate this and all sins in my life? **
