The growing list goes on and on.

Bombarded by Telemarketers all throughout the year and then the huge convergence of door to door canvassing during Easter and the greatest Secular holiday of the year…Christmas.

Well; first of all I have no intention of sounding like the Grim Reaper, Hum Bug Mr.Scrouge.

Sometimes I wonder if its prudent that we Catholics take a hard investigative look at monies given to secular legitimized Charities instead of consolidating such charitable monies to our own parishes our asking our dioceses to funnel huge money sums to legitimate Catholic Charities that don’t use large sums of charitable monies that don’t proffer huge administration overhead costs. like major secular charities do.

Yes it sounds compassionate and charitable to give monies to major charities like the Diabetic Association, the Red Cross, United Way, the Heart and Cancer Foundation and so so many others. How many people take time to research the overhead administration costs of these charities? I’ve seen some Catholic associations get into this unnecessary administrative overhead expenses all in the name of charity given freely from people and their loved ones, or in memorandum of their loved ones and friends who dies or are suffering terrible afflictions.

I don’t think its really sending the Christian message for Major Charities running these kind of operations with huge overhead expenses. Where’s the Justice?
I am in no way convinced in this world that Cancer or numerous other diseases can be cured.

More often than not to me its a Sham in disguise at the expense of those willing to give.
Yes I probably am sounding like the Grim Reaper. I’m not saying not to give charity.
But re-directing it. Probably I’m just a voice in the wind echoing some others.
