Questioning Catholic Priesthood

Hello,
I feel like i am being called to priesthood but have a couple of questions. I have committed and received the Holy Eucharist while in mortal sin. If i go to penance then can i become a priest later on?
 
There would be no priests if past sinners were barred from ordination.
 
Please speak with your Priest and vocations person at your Parish. They will guide you in discerning your vocation to Priesthood.

And the Sacrament of Reconcilliation will give you absolution. I pray you go ASAP

May God guide you towards your calling whatever it may be. Don’t worry about making mistakes… we are all human. Focus instead on the solution, reconciliation.

May I ask what makes you feel you’re called? What sign(s) do you see/get?
