It’s the errant modern teaching that if one gives sacrificially to that particular faith community, (often centered around the prayer of Jabez) that one will prosper and be healthy wealthy and wise. Benny Hinn is one such preacher I understand.
It flies in the face of all the early church and all real Christianity where the faithful lost all and were often martyrs.
