Hey everyone, recently I’ve opened a thread asking about Eastern Liturgies, and you all helped me, which I appreciate. I got questions specifically about Alexandrian Rite now.
  1. Is Ge’ez (Ethiopian and Etritean) Rite different in structure than Coptic? How do they differ?
  2. How similar are Liturgies of St. Cyril and St. Basil (Alexandrian)? Do they differ in Anaphora, or also in structure of Liturgy itself?
  3. If Ge’ez Rite differentiates from Coptic, does it differ in both Liturgies of St. Cyril and St. Basil? Does it even have both?
  4. What’s Liturgy of St. Gregory’s relations to those Liturgies specified above? Does it exist in Ge’ez use too?
Thank you all in advance.

The rite is the Coptic rite.
Ge’ez and Coptic are different languages.
Coptic is used in Egypt while Ge’ez is used in Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Does that mean both Liturgies are same, only difference being language?

Actually, it’s the Alexandrian rite. The Coptic Church is a particular Church sui juris which uses the Alexandrian rite. You are right of course about the languages and where they are used.
