Hey everyone!
I’ve never prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet before, but I’m thinking about starting. The biggest hang up that I have is with the “Eternal Father” prayer…how do we as individuals offer the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus to the Father? Isn’t this something that only priests do while celebrating Mass? Does this need to be prayed in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament? I’m just very confused by it. Thanks in advance for any (name removed by moderator)ut 🙂

I have been saying the Divine Mercy chaplet ever since someone told me about Sister Faustina and I read her book. When praying the"Eternal Prayer’ and saying I offer you the Body and Blood , Soul and Divinity of Your dearly Beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world to me it is laying before God we acknowledge that we know what Jesus did for us and also that he is one in Being with the Father The Chaplet does not have to be said in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament though I would encourage it if you have a chance. Three o’clock in the afternoon is the Hour of Mercy said Jesus. The chaplet is a beautiful prayer and I am glad you will be reciting it. GOD BLESS
