Hi Tommy999, I was a Baptised Baptist when I joined the
Roman Catholic Church, the way I understand it, scripture
definitely recommends confession of mortal sins 1 John 1:9
but also venial sins James 5:16, the former to a priest, who
acts in the place of Christ 1 John 2:1-2, and the latter to
each other James 5:16. BUT also we are to PRAY for those
of our bros. and sisters in Christ who commits venial sins
so that they may be given LIFE by God! (1 John 5:16)
Also, loving one another and forgiving each other, we will
have sweet fellowship and the Blood of Jesus will be made
available to wash away ALL our sins!(1 John 1:7)
