Hello All,

If you are anything like me you probably never really look past the most recent page of posts unless you are looking up something specific. As such I want to re-post three (OK, technically four…) questions about Islam I asked some time ago that were not answered in whole or in part. Thanks.
  1. According to Islam what are the signs of Mohammed’s prophet-hood?
  2. Many Muslims claim Catholic are idolaters for praying while facing statues. Is this view the norm or the opinion of a minority? How does this differ from praying in front of the Ka’bah?
  3. As Mosses is considered a prophet are his creation stories found in the book of Genesis accepted or does Islam have a differing version of creation?

I do find it odd that our Muslim friends have now twice ignored what should be such a simple question. What are the signs of Mohammed’s prophet hood?

As should be well know to all by now I am not seeking an argument, I am just curious.

What more did you expect? What would trump that as a sign of a prophet?

A Muslim on this forum told me that the virgin birth was a sign of Jesus’ prophet hood. While I believe Jesus was not a prophet but God, I think a virgin birth would trump a message from an angel either way. Just my opinion…

I guess I just expected a whole long list of reported signs concerning Mohammed from Muslims.
