Questions Concerning the Miraculous Medal

I wear the miraculous medal (two actually because one is the actual medal and the other is the center of my Crucifix) and am enrolled in the Central Association of the Miraculous Medal, but I still have quite a few questions -
  1. In the article “How the Miraculous Medal changed my life” by Fr. John A. Harod, S.J. he stated that the Vincentine priest encouraged them to persue gaining the faculties to enroll people in the Confraternity of the Miraculous Medal - does this mean you have to be “invested”, because I haven’t been (or at least not that I remember).
  2. If you are enrolled (i.e. invested w/ MM) then what is the purpose of joining the Central Association of the Miraculous Medal, besides the Masses said for you?
  3. Does your being invested expire when your CAMM membership expires?
  4. Can Non-Catholics be enrolled in the Confraternity?
