I believed that he didn’t die on cross coz if he than there is no chance for him to coming back to this world. Please explain to viewer your thoughts who do you blame for his death. If he is dead than how come he is coming back to this world again. And why he is coming back. I know to judge world. But judging world for what. I know he is going to fight with anti-christ. And please explain the word “CHRIST” is it meaning Messiah or Messenger.Who do you think ANTI-CHRIST is picture one. We muslim called him al-dajjal. He is going to appeared in last days. Please try to quote my questions and answer back.Thank you very much.🙂

My friend, before you can understand why Christ died and His promise to come back, you would have to understand and accept the fact that He is God, which I understand Muslims do not. As part of the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), He atones for our sins through His death AND resurrection and makes it possible for us to obtain eternal life with Him in Heaven. This is the basic Christian understanding of how and why Christ came into our world (i e the Incarnation of God).

There is no one single person to be blamed for His death…the sins of mankind placed Him on that cross, which was part of what was suppose to happen in order for us to have salvation. Some anti-Semites would like to blame the Jews for His death, but the Church rejects that notion.

As for the anti-Christ, we don’t make it a practice to speculate, since Satan does influence many of us in many different ways. Only one who is pure of heart and keeps his/her focus on the Lord can be given the grace and strength to resist Satan’s influence in their lives.

I agree with Tonks40 above. I would like add some more.

You asked about the word “Christ”; It comes from the Greek translation of the Hebrew “Messiah”, which means “the anointed one”. It became the name proper to Jesus only because he accomplished perfectly the divine mission/anointment.

And his mission was to offer Himself as a sacrifice for our sins. The crucifixion parrallels perfectly with Passover; I’d encourage you to research it.

Thank you for your interest.

Also, you may want to research Easter. It is a very important feast day for us, and it is coming up soon. It is a celebration that Jesus rose from the dead - three days after his suffering and crucifixion. I realise this would be hard for you to consider, because muslims don’t believe Jesus was crucified. But you must keep this thought aside if you wish to learn about us. Thanks again.

Thanks Tonks, You are not as confused as other christians are. You seems like very understood in your faith. You cleared my answer very well and you are right We have huge difference within us thats Christians claim Jesus as a God and Muslims claim him as a Prophet and Messenger from God. Why would God need to come down to the word and explain its message. Is God is that much into human. Why would he need to explain us so much.Like to go to the boss you need to contact with secretary. Anywayz and Good Nite.

Because God Loves you.

Who is Boss and Secretary Here? Can anyone explain? I think Secretary is Jesus and Boss is God. So God needs messenger to tell his people about him. Did Boss can do the same think which secretary do. I guess not

It is statements like this that give the author absolutely no credibility. I mean, why should I waste my time, especially with a deceptively titled thread? The OP is not a Christian, he is a Moslem, thus he is not a “fellow Christian”. And one who frankly insults everyone with such left-handed compliments.

Thats a discrimination with OP and its a anti-semtic statement also.

**Well, if you don’t believe that Jesus died, then you don’t have to deal with His Resurrection, now do you?

A dead man requires only that he be buried.

A man who rises from the dead is in a position to make non-negotiable demands.**

“Why would God need to come down to the word and explain its message. Is God is that much into human. Why would he need to explain us so much.Like to go to the boss you need to contact with secretary.”

I assume you mean that “prophets” are like God’s “secretaries” - taking down God’s dictations and telling us His commands. And you would then say that Jesus is only a prophet who came to tell us God’s will. Therefore, God does not come directly to us; rather God tells us to deal with His secretary.

This is a great analogy to point out the radical difference between Islam and Christianity.

Christians believe that God LOVES us. He loves us so much that He came down to earth as one of us, to live as we do and teach us His way. Jesus is both God and man, and He gave His life for us so that we might be saved by accepting God’s love and grace poured out for us on the cross

According to what you have posted here, Muslims believe that God is too busy to deal with us or incapable - He pushes us off to His “secretary”. Or He is so repulsed by us and disconnected from us that He does not want to deal with us directly. He created us and then rejected us.

The problem with this Muslim understanding is that it shows God to be limited. His love of man is limited. Love requires a self-giving. God (in your understanding) is incapable of giving Himself perfectly, totally. Your God does not love perfectly, and is therefore flawed - He is imperfect. Incapable of loving us perfectly.

The Christian God has an infinite Love that is capable of loving even a sinful creature like man. The Christian God gives Himself perfectly even to the point of a human death. Your God is not capable of such an infinite love and therefore distances Himself from man. He is unable to approach man and so sends others to do what He is unable to do Himself.

I prefer to believe in an infinite, all-loving God who saves me, than a God who turns me over to His secretary like an unwelcome guest.

Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit are coequal.

Your so-called ‘God’ is like a man who needs secretaries and messengers.

I think you guys are being a lot nastier to the OP than he deserves. Can we *simply *answer his questions and charitably point out his misconceptions? He is from another faith. If he does not accept what we are sharing with him, that’s up to him and the Holy Spirit. That he has started this thread with a deceptive title should be (and has been) pointed out, but after that his questions are legitimate for someone who has not been given faith in Jesus.

God will judge his heart and his intentions, not us.

I agree. And since english is obviously not his native language is it possible that the title wasn’t meant to be deceptive but friendly?

Thanks for the reply. You understand the Boss and Secretary relation very well. High five and thumb up for you.

In the words of Saint Athanasius: “God became human so humans would become gods” What this means is that we pray become holy and perfect as our Father is perfect. God sent us Christ to show us in human terms, terms we can understand, what He needs from us and how to eventually enter into His Kingdom.

Here’s a story which I thought was a very sweet way to speak of why God chose to come to us in the Person of Jesus Christ:
There was once a man who didn’t believe in God, and he didn’t hesitate to let others know how he felt about religion and religious holidays, like Christmas. His wife, however, did believe, and she raised their children to also have faith in God and Jesus, despite his disparaging comments.
One snowy Christmas Eve, his wife was taking their children to a Christmas Eve service in the farm community in which they lived. She asked him to come, but he refused.
“That story is nonsense!” he said. “Why would God lower Himself to come to Earth as a man? That’s ridiculous!” So she and the children left, and he stayed home.
A while later, the winds grew stronger and the snow turned into a blizzard. As the man looked out the window, all he saw was a blinding snowstorm. He sat down to relax before the fire for the evening. Then he heard a loud thump. Something had hit the window. Then another thump. He looked out, but couldn’t see more than a few feet.
When the snow let up a little, he ventured outside to see what could have been beating on his window. In the field near his house he saw a flock of wild geese. Apparently they had been flying south for the winter when they got caught in the snowstorm and couldn’t go on. They were lost and stranded on his farm, with no food or shelter. They just flapped their wings and flew around the field in low circles, blindly and aimlessly. A couple of them had flown into his window, it seemed.
The man felt sorry for the geese and wanted to help them. The barn would be a great place for them to stay, he thought. It’s warm and safe; surely they could spend the night and wait out the storm. So he walked over to the barn and opened the doors wide, then watched and waited, hoping they would notice the open barn and go inside.
The geese just fluttered around aimlessly and didn’t seem to notice the barn or realize what it could mean for them. The man tried to get their attention, but that just seemed to scare them and they moved further away. He went into the house and came back out with some bread, broke it up, and made a breadcrumbs trail leading to the barn, but they still didn’t catch on.
Now he was getting frustrated. He got behind them and tried to shoo them toward the barn, but they only got more scared and scattered in every direction except toward the barn. Nothing he did could get them to go into the barn where they would be warm and safe.
“Why don’t they follow me?!” he exclaimed. “Can’t they see this is the only place where they can survive the storm?” He thought for a moment and realized that they just wouldn’t follow a human.
“If only I were a goose, then I could save them,” he said out loud.
Then he had an idea. He went into barn, got one of his own geese, and carried it in his arms as he circled around behind the flock of wild geese. He then released it. His goose flew through the flock and straight into the barn - and one by one the other geese followed it to safety!
He stood silently for a moment as the words he had spoken a few minutes earlier replayed in his mind:
“If only I were a goose, then I could save them!”
Then he thought about what he had said to his wife earlier. “Why would God want to be like us? That’s ridiculous!”
Suddenly it all made sense. That is what God had done. We were like the geese - blind, lost, and perishing. God had His Son become like us so He could show us the way and save us. That was the meaning of Christmas, he realized!
As the winds and blinding snow died down, his soul became quiet and pondered this wonderful thought. Suddenly he understood what Christmas was all about, why Christ had come.
Years of doubt and disbelief vanished like the passing storm. He fell to his knees in the snow, and prayed his first prayer:
“Thank You, God, for coming in human form
to get me out of the storm!”
