I need some answers about my crazy Easter Sunday. I feel awesome first of all. I can feel the Spirit in me. It got to when I was listening to the soundtrack to Lord of the Rings, by myself, I started imagining Biblical events. Seeing Jesus, Mary, St.Michael The Archangel and others. I got totally lost in thought and really started imagining St. Michael helping Jesus. That and sort of imagining the fun side of God the Father. I felt like a little kid again. :o:p

It also seemed to remind me of the attraction I seem to have to St. Michael the Archangel. Ever since I came back to the church, I’ve felt an attraction to Michael. After starting down a path to be an EMT, I learned Michael was the patron saint. It was almost reassurance career wise. Its like God telling me, Yes Drew, I want you to live this exciting life, being out in the world and helping people.

So my questions are these.

Do you think it might be wise to do a Rosary with music? It seems to help me imagine being there during the mysteries.

Do you ever wonder about the fun side of God, Jesus, and the rest of the Heavenly Court? Its just hard not imagine God being fun a little. After all, he gave us the ability to have fun and enjoy our lives.

How should I go about learning more about Michael the Archangel? I’d love to learn more about one of God’s top Angels.

And lastly, do you think its possible for us to join a choir of angels if God admits us into Heaven? I just had a great time imagining serving God with Michael and his band of angels. Defending people in battle against sin. I know humans are not as great as the angels. But it’s still fun for 24 year old to feel 12 and dream.😛

Yeah, some do the rosary with music.

I never really think about the fun side of God or the Heavenly Court, I admit.

If I wanted to learn about St. Michael, I’d get books or go online. There’s also the Chaplet of St. Michael. Had you ever tried it?

I didn’t think we could join the choir of angels, but who knows?

I usually think about life on Earth, how I can serve here and now.

Hi Drew,

I am sure that you can find Rosary CDs already available in Catholic bookstores that are set to music and/or singing.

When we still had cable, I used to watch Mother Angelica’s series on Heaven. It used to be broadcast on Easter. It is a fascinating series. I am sure that it is also available through EWTN, too.

I have heard supposedly that the Angels constantly sing and praise God in Heaven. It is supposed to be so beautiful, and it is supposed to be unlike anything that we have ever heard here on Earth.

I myself would like to think that we would be able to do the same when we get there. I used to sing with the choir at one of the churches that I belonged to. I think that it would be awesome to continue to sing and praise God in Heaven.

I would like to think that Jesus had the ability to laugh. We are created in the image of God, and we are able to laugh, too. I like being able to laugh. It helps me to cope with life, when things get difficult.

Choirs of angels are not where angels sing; there are three choirs with three types or ranks of angels in each.

Also, angels are very different from us. We will not be like them in Heaven.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t interact with them, after all, we should be developing a relationship with our guardian angel! and if you look up something like “Catholic devotions to St Michael the Archangel” then you should be able to find some good information.

And you can also find information on guardian angels. I always use Catholic in my searches, hoping to rule out some of the odder search returns.
