Starwynd doesn’t represent the Catholic position on sex and that was already pointed out in a previous post. Please let it go. There is already too much fighting and non-thread related conversation going on here already.

I received a “demerit” or “notice of bad post” or “naughty little girl” email once from a forum moderator for something uncharitable I had written. I was glad about it because this is a Catholic forum and we should all be charitable towards each other.
In this thread many posters have been extremely uncharitable to PastorJim. Why? Because he is not Catholic? Because he advocates reading the Bible? He actually brought up some good points which I learned from, as did others. I don’t agree that the
Bible covers lubricant usage, but there are other things that I would like to further study.
Usually when someone states a point with which others disagree, one poster will present the other side and then the thread moves on. These attacts on PastorJim I find quite “un-Christian” in the “they will know we are Christian by our Love” sort of way.
How does our response to PastorJim show that Catholosism is the one true religion, when many of us gang up on him in this way. Name calling, questioning his credentials, and just being plane mean. Honestly, the responses to PastorJim make me quite embarrassed and ashamed.
And no, I do not care about PastorJim’s other posts on other threads etc, 2 wrongs does not make a right.
