You should watch this episode on Our Lady of Fatima that was from that show the Nostradamus Effect some years back.

No need… I doubt it has much credibility anyway based on the title alone. The Church, on the other hand, has spoken on the matter as did Sr. Lucia. Hard to beat those sources.

I think a prospective seminarian needs to stop doubting the Church he wishes to serve and buying into fables and fairy tales.

Just to clarify are you calling the entire Fatima miracle a fable and fairy tale? Which part are you referring too?

None of the Fatima miracle is in my reference to fable or fairy tale. The notion that there’s some grand cover up at the Vatican surrounding it was what I meant. (And I’m pretty sure you knew that.)

Men are fallible, just like how Moses disobeyed God, the Popes disobey God.
Moses was told to speak to the rock and gove glory to God so it may gush forth water for Israel, instead he struck it and didn’t give God glory. He was punished and barred from entering the promised land

The Popes have yet to consecrate Russia. Instead of consecrating Russia specifically like Our Lady asked, they consecrated the entire world. They struck the rock instead of speaking to it. JPII even left out naming Russia in 1984 as to not offend the Russians, as if being consecrated is some sort if insult to the Russians.

And do not confuse my criticism for hatred. I love Pope JPII as much as the next good Catholic, but objectively speaking the consecration has not happened.

Sr. Lucia said it was done. The end. No need for anything else. I’m not going to deal with it further. If she says it was done, it was done. Who gets to argue?! Certainly no one on this earth is qualified (despite those on this thread who seem to think they are).

If people would spend more time praying the Rosary and praying the Fatima prayers from the angel, and making the First Saturdays, and doing penance for reparation and to save sinners and for the Holy Father like Mother Mary asked, and less time fussing about whether consecrations were done right and what the Third Secret said, we’d all be better off. Just my opinion.

& pray the Mass. A lot of what Our Lady asked at Fatima are prayed in every single Mass.

What is prayed in every single mass that the Blessed Virgin Mary asked for?
