Hi!

When we’re praying the Magnificat or when reflecting on Luke 1:38, can we apply it to our lives and use it as a prayer for us to glorify God and as a mission? Like for example, is it fair to say that that Luke 1:38 verse can help us guide our life to grow closer to our Lord? Or should we merely see it through the eyes of the Blessed Mother?

Thanks!

Yes of course you can apply it to yourself in your praise of God. We imitate Mary and join with her as she teaches us to pray and “magnify” the Lord in all we do.

Yes, we can always pray it in all the situation in our life’s problems and end all our prayers in Lk1:38 .They are great miracles taking place ,which praying it 9 times like a novena or praying it like on the Rosary ,just praying it many times while driving also fills us with the Holy Spirit since its the Word of God ,or interior or while meditating .Many saints prayed then in dire needs like St Theresa of Child Jesus and St Theresa of Calcutta.
