If this is the wrong spot to ask the following questions, please relocate my thread to the appropriate spot(s) (if applicable) or delete it.

I’m married and I like to know the following:
  1. A woman goes through multiple orgasms, right? Since foreplay (leading to vaginal intercourse and orgasm inside the vagina, of course) is allowed, is it morally wrong for a woman to have reach her first orgasm before vaginal intercourse? I guess, put simply, is pre-intercourse orgasm in a woman morally wrong?
  2. What does the Catholic Church teaches about drugs that supposedly enhanced a woman’s chances of ovulating or to the effect of higher chance of getting pregnant? I guess this question applies to drugs for men too, perhaps, I don’t know, raise the sperm count or to the effect of enhancing his chances (I guess I should say, his sperm’s chances) for fertilizing the egg?
Also, I would appreciate it if you could point me to websites, webpages or books that can illumine me on the subject matter addressed by my questions.

Thank you and God love all of you.

I think I can answer your first question. When a man climaxes, he ejaculates sperm. (obvious, I know) So, he cannot purposly have an orgams outside of his wife without commiting a sin. Now, the woman on the other hand climaxes, but it doesn’t affect her fertility or rather her ability to become pregnant. So, yes a woman can have multiple orgasms AS LONG AS they are all in the context of the marital act. The only time this would be sinful is if the woman was masturbating or her spouse was orally or manually stimulating her with no intention of performing the marital act. I hope that is clear enough!

As for your second one, I don’t know. I would guess that natural stuff (i.e. plants or food or vitamins) would be ok, but I am not sure.

Even drugs are okay, in and of themselves. The problem comes in when multiple ova are produced and fertilized, and the doctors want to abort some of them in order to increase the chances of survival of the others. This latter part is completely immoral.

See Donum Vitae for more details, or the Catechism entry (2373-2379) for a summary.

No, it is not wrong as part of foreplay that leads to intercourse.

There is no moral problem with these types of drugs so long as they are not used in conjunction with any artificial conception method such as IVF. Simply taking a drug, like Clomid, to stimulate ovulation is not morally problematic as any child conceived is done so in the normal way-- vaginal intercourse.

the folks here have given you pretty much all the information you are seeking. the thing you have to remember with your second question is is that anything that aids the act of firtilization and cooperates with natural marital act is okay. it’s when doctors want to take the spirm out fo the guy and the egg out of the girl and do something in a lab or inject the wife with someone elses sperm because the guy is starol or crazy stuff like that. there is a great catholic research instatute, but I can’t remember what it’s called. maybe someone else on her can tell you. they study fertility and do everything they can inside the rules of the church to aid the conception process from those having trouble. I"m thinking it’s like the pope leo XII institute or osmething like that. I May be way off on the name though. 🙂

My brothers and sisters in Christ, thank you so much for your crystal-clear answers to my questions. Indeed, it is such a great relief to have such knowledge now.

To all who will answer my questions in the future, I thank you in advanced as well.

God love you all.
