So I am still new to the Catholic Church (Methodist concert) and I’m just discovering what the Divine Mercy Chaplet is. I would like to start praying it everyday along with my Rosary, but most people don’t seem to do this outside of the Novena leading up to this Sunday. Is this something I could pray everyday? Is there benefits to praying it everyday? Can an unbaptized/unconfirmed person (who is seeking these things) pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and receive mercy/grace? Can unbaptized/unconfirmed even pray the rosary and receive intercession from Mary? Does the church say anything on this?

Jesus died to give us his Divine Mercy. Praying the chaplet is ALWAYS fruitful.

Anyone can pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. I have prayed it as a novena ( 9 days straight ) and I try to pray the chaplet regularly. Some days I only say a shortened part of the prayer at 3pm.

In the Bible we are told to pray without ceasing. There are no prayers (as far as I know) that wouldn’t be allowed to a person- with exception to some for blessings, etc meant for those in the priesthood. Also, God’s mercy and grace is always available for everyone.

Try searching St. Faustina

Good news! This is an excerpt from Father Alar, MIC, from the Divine Mercy Shrine.
Finally, please remember that this extraordinary promise of Divine Mercy Sunday is for everyone. Tell your non-Catholic friends about it. Everyone can ask Jesus to forgive their sins. Everyone can make a Spiritual Communion. And everyone can ask for this grace to completely wipe their slate clean of not only all sin, but all punishment due to sin. Normally, the punishment is not remitted unless one has absolute perfect contrition. And unlike a plenary indulgence, there is no requirement of having perfect detachment from sin. In other words, as long as we have a desire for this grace and intention to amend our lives, we can be completely cleansed with grace similar to our original Baptism. It is a way to really start over in our spiritual life!
Here is the website.

As for your other question about the rosary, of course Mary would be delighted to hear from ALL of God’s children, one of whom you are! Be assured, that when you go to her and ask her intercession through the rosary or other Marian prayers, you will find your heart growing much closer to Our Lord Jesus - that is her desire and her mission, to bring us all to deeper union with her Divine Son.

God bless you!

Here’s a video that puts the message of the Divine Mercy and a good chap let video:

Incorrect. Many, many, MANY church rosary groups pray the Divine Mercy after the Rosary. Some groups don’t even pray the Rosary but pray the Divine Mercy instead. You probably wouldn’t know that if you haven’t spent a lot of time praying with parish Rosary and Divine Mercy prayer groups. Trust me, I have.
Is this something I could pray everyday? Is there benefits to praying it everyday?
Yes and yes. Jesus encouraged us to pray the Divine Mercy frequently. St. Faustina said it all day every day. The point of the chaplet is not just to get grace for ourselves but to pray for the whole world and invoke God’s mercy, especially for sinners and the dying.
Can an unbaptized/unconfirmed person (who is seeking these things) pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and receive mercy/grace? Can unbaptized/unconfirmed even pray the rosary and receive intercession from Mary? Does the church say anything on this?
Anyone can pray these prayers sincerely. It’s perfectly fine if you’re not a Catholic or not baptized (yet). The prayers will help you to grow closer to God and Mother Mary and will help you on your journey.

The Church has always encouraged everyone to pray. It’s not an activity reserved just for Catholics.

Edited to add, in case you don’t want to wade through St. Faustina’s voluminous Diary just yet, the Marians have a very helpful site on the Divine Mercy that provides all the information you need.

Thank you so much for the passage from the priest and everything you said. God bless you as well

Please feel free to pray the Chaplet at any time, and anywhere. It can be grace-filled and especially so if you offer it on behalf of someone in great need. Many liken it to the 5 sorrowful mysteries and they are right. One of my favorites to pray along with is the following video, by Fr. Hayden Williams, a priest on the island nation of Malta.

Is there benefits to praying it everyday?
Yes, and they are immeasurable. The Chaplet may beseech God and obtain answers for your many differing petitions. This article from the Diary of St. Faustina is a good one to ponder.

#1731. Today I was awakened by a great storm. The wind was raging and it was raining in torrents, thunderbolts striking again and again. I began to pray the the storm would do no harm, when I heard the words: Say the chaplet I have taught you, and the storm will cease. I began immediately to say the chaplet and hadn’t even finished it when the storm suddenly ceased, and I heard the words: Through the chaplet you will obtain everything, if what you ask for is compatible with my will.

Many people I know, including myself, pray the Chaplet daily as well as make a perpetual Divine Mercy novena. If you start to look for such folk, you will find them.

I try to pray it at 3 o’clock daily, join me and add your prayers

A prayer at the 3 o'clock hour, let's offer something up to the Divine Mercy of Jesus Spirituality
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on @Yjjr (my life), @pollylodges, the soul of @Katie777’s mom, @Kyle2253, girlfriend (conversion), @DiscerningTheTruth, husband (breakthrough), @benedictinehopeful (prayer for faith) and on the whole world. I did pray a decade of the divine mercy chaplet for each poster’s intention (during my 15:00 hour). God, Heavenly Father, I ask that Your Will may be done. Give me what You know to be best for my soul, and for the souls of those for whom I…
