Quick concern about confession

Hey, so I bought this very bad shirt for my friend but I refunded it. Today I went to confession to confess that and I said I bought the shirt but I think I forgot to tell the priest that I already refunded the shirt with the awful message. The priest then told me to not get a shirt like that since it spreads an awful message so I got rid of it. But the thing is I refunded the shirt before I went to confession. Then I told the priest that I bought it but I forgot to tell him that I already refunded it. - Any Advice helps. I’m not sure if this was lying or not if any advice comment down below God bless

You need to stop posting these threads and get help for your scrupulosity. It’s not going to help you if you keep seeking reassurance on this forum. Talk to your priest and a counselor.

By the way, you have helped me, I dont think I have scrupulosity I dont wanna diagnose myself. I just need insurance from another priest if you are willing to get your opinion. God bless

Your posting history indicates that you do have scrupulosity. I know what to look for. I hear confessions several times a week so I know the signs.

Oh, ok ty I have to remember that I confessed it it was absolved and I shouldnt worry about it

If it was absolved does it matter that you forgot to mention to the preist that you refunded it.
As you had taken it back to the shop there was no need to confess about buying a t shirt with a bad message on it.

I hate to say this but I feel you have a terrible case of the scruples either that or I am a terrible catholic who doesn’t think enough about my actions thoughts feelings and words or I don’t go to confession enough.
