I might not have had full consent to saying however since we were in a fight and I was pushed past the breaking point.
Go to Confession. And the Priest can help you examine your offense.
Life isn’t easy. Our compulsion is rather twisted and entangled with concupiscence and anger. And some deep inner hatred at times.
I do not know how living with the person is. No one can bear the cross as you bear it. We, like Simon the Cerene, are just as that. Outside bystandersa and witnesses among the crowds. And when onlooking, asked by the Roman soldiers, to help Christ carry His Cross. We’re likewise all tasked/called to do so, helping our bothers and sisters to carry their’s. Bearing each burdens with patience and fortitude. Not easy by a longshot.
With that, people will make us hate them. I know. I run that way with my family. And even non-family people. Some people I find arrogant and rude. And thinking them to be prickish. But that steals my peace away. The peace which Christ tries to place in my heart. Not the peace of not caring. Not the peace of just to go along to get along. In other words, not a peace of being inoculated with pain medication. To sort of us numb us to the reality. It’s better to see where our hearts are, fallen, broken, and weaken from the onset of sin that entered into the world, through our foreparents. In other words, it gives us an examine of conscience. Or as the old adage of faith goes: Oh happy fault of Adam!
Gives us the ability to grow and develop in our faith. As the Australian Matthew Kelly says: To become the best version of yourself.
That is key for discipleship in Christ. Why we have Confession. And also, Adoration.
The Priest, I imagine, will give you some sort of penance and remedy. Possibly saying sorry to your mom. She may not receive it. Or you may not like her reaction. But, be sincere. Remember what your pray in secret before the Father, your reward will be in secret too. Christ will not hold you up, and say you said sorry. And you are right. Rather, He will bring humility, so that you do not fall into sin, or even further into it.
I’d say be truly sorry. You can apologize. Also better to go to Confession first. And then spend in Adoration before Christ in the sweetness of the Sacrament that reigns Christ’s presence. Remember, just be sorry and out of love, apologize. You satisfaction is to Christ, His Church, and His Father. Take your heart to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and let your heart mend their. He will listen.
