Quick prayer for a guy who helped me today

I was out today and My mom’s car would not start. I tried to get help to no avail, and I was ignored a bunch of people. Someone finally stopped, said he wasn’t too sure how to jump start a car, but he we try and help me anyways. After a minute or two we got started it. I thanked him and wished him a Merry Christmas.

The least I can do now is ask if you could spare this kind man a prayer or two.

Praying . . . also for any Medical Doctors that he may see in the future because it is nice to have already prayed for the Doctor (Our Lord knows who s/he will be even if not born yet ;)).

O merciful Father,
Who have wonderfully fashioned man in Your own image,
and have made his body to be a temple of the Holy Spirit,
sanctify, we pray You, our doctors and nurses and all those whom you have called to
…study and practice the arts of healing the sick and the prevention of disease and pain.
Strengthen them in body and soul,
and bless their work,
that they may give comfort to those for whose salvation Your Son became Man,
lived on this earth, healed the sick,
