Quick question on the breviary

If you are asking about the new translation of the Mass, then (1) the “format” of the Mass isn’t changing, just the wording, and (2) no, this has no effect on the breviary. That too will presumably be updated at some point in the future, but no time soon.

However their are a couple of correspondence points between the breviary and the missal that I expect will have to be addressed sometime. One being the response “And with your spirit” in case of a public setting with a priest or deacon, and the other being the Closing Prayers on Sundays and feastdays. I have a felling (but only a guess) that people will be allowed to substitute the new missal translations for these.
