Can I go to confession/receive communion at a Byzantine Eastern Catholic Church that claims unity with rome?

There’s a Roman Catholic Church right down the road, but it’s a mega-church- I like the small church feel better.

I get the whole “yeah, I can go to orthodox church if there isn’t a catholic church within distance,” but does that apply to an eastern church in union with rome?

Eastern Catholic Churches are 100% Catholic. Yes you certainly can.

Be prepared for possibly having a face to face confession. A confessional is not the norm in the Byzantine rite.
