QUIZ:- What Catholic Religious Order Fits Your Personality?

If it is protestant then I sincerely do apologize, I love the blessed virgin Mary and would never intentionally disrespect her 😊
;)šŸ™‚

Our Lady could be described as saintly, the ā€œgreatest saintā€, except that her Seven Sorrows went far deeper than can be explained in human terms. The mystical reality has to be lived. By amazing grace. Her title: ā€œThe Immaculate Conceptionā€ denotes Divine Motherhood - and this reality is far more suited to an elevated titled above that of other saints. To not attribute expression to the elevated dignity of the Holy Mother, is to deny her, not only her Heavenly motherliness but also the salvific work of the Resurrection in her, and our, lives.

Sorry, you need more than your opinion on the matter to state this so emphatically. You are just plain wrong, friend. Blessings on you. šŸ™‚
No ā€œfriendā€ of mine denies the elevated beauty of Our Lady’s life and role as Mother and Queen.

I got Franciscan. No surprise there, but I was curious if there had been a shift in my spirituality.

Sister Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus, which doesn’t surprise me at all.

ā€œSister Adorers of the Royal Heartā€¦ā€ seems to be the majority so far followed closely by the Dominicans.

Don’t worry, you didn’t disrespect Our Lady. See here: Catholic cathedrals, basilicas, parishes named St. Mary.

Anglican churches may bear the title St. Mary because they were established before the reformation. Besides this, Anglicans believe in the Communion of Saints. They name their parishes for the saints. They did not ā€œanglicanizeā€ St. Mary in order to deny her privileges or Catholic titles. This is history not mere opinion or speculation.

Now, let’s get back to the OP’s topic. šŸ™‚

Please stop this protestant proselytizing.

Dominican
I have the distinct feeling the calculations favor them and the Sister Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus. I have to wonder why. Is really possible that CAFers are so easily divided? Strange.

I got Franciscan. Do you think that means I’m different than other CAF members? Maybe CAF attracts a certain type of Catholic. :hmmm:

That’s possible. :dancing: But I think it more possible that the program is a bit flawed…but that’s just my feeling. šŸ™‚

While we’re on the subject of the Seven Sorrows of Mary, I chose the Servites (OSM), of which I am a member of their Third Order.

What a blessed gift to be a servant of such holy undertaking! šŸ™‚ Wishing you a holy and wonderful Advent, and may much fruit grow from your continued devotional service for this Order, to Heaven.

I am a man and so I could only become a Nunk.

I am to become a Sister (sister-brother Nunk) Adorer of the Royal Heart of…(apparently).

However, I had two problems with this quiz.
  1. Our Lady of Guadaloupe is not to be placed in amongst other saints - she is Our Lady QUEEN OF SAINTS. This is highly disresepectful to the dignity of the Immaculate Conception. To put her in rivalry over her little children.
  2. How can this quiz possibly make up such impossible conclusions.
  3. This quiz is obviously designed to gear people towards Traditional Catholic Orders. I know, because I did not put the EF form as a preference, and yet, the conclusion was that I would best belong to an Order with this Rite as priority.
Crystal Waters, maybe you do not mean for this, but it would seem that this quiz is less than desirable in its lack of respect for the saints and for our Holy Mother and also it is manipulative.

I hope this doesn’t put false ideas in young ladies’ heads (and those of prospective nunks).
Seems as if my opposition might have achieved only what I set out to oppose. Kind of ironic. :imsorry:

Great threads, OP. Have a blessed Advent.

:blessyou:
