Here are some really good quotes from Father John Corapi:
  • “The devil donned a judicial robe.” (In relation to the US Supreme Court decision in Roe vs Wade which decriminalized abortion)
  • “You need to know your faith. You cannot give what you do not have.” (On the need for Catholics to study and learn Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church)
  • “In the end, forever, you and I will be in Heaven or Hell. Period.”
  • “I’m not going to hell for anybody!”
"Let me tell you how NOT to have vocations:
Disobey the Church. Do not accept the teaching of the Magisterium of the Church. Badmouth the Pope and send them to lousy seminaries…you will have NO vocations! Kiss 'em goodbye! It is absolutely fatal to play fast and loose with faith and morals. Things are getting better but we’ve gone through a very dry period in the Church. I can give you example after example of religious congregations and dioceses that are doing just great with vocations. Why? Because they’re faithful. Period. Because they’re faithful. They don’t play games with the Doctrine of the Faith. They don’t try to promote in seminarians a kind of attitude of liberal dissent. That is the kiss of death and I can prove it time and time and time again that wherever that is done, there are no vocations. And there won’t be. There won’t be. Where things are done properly, there are vocations. It’s not hard. It’s not rocket science.

Really excellent quotes!!!

I don’t have a direct quote from Fr. but I do remember the very first time I listened to him.

He said something to the effect, Evil things happen for the greater good.

That’s stuck with me for years. I wish I knew what seminar/series or whatever that was from, probably something along the lines of his 9/11 talks.

‘Love God with your whole heart - God wants no half-hearted lovers … love God with your whole mind - God wants no half-witted lovers …’

He’s got some really funny ones - ‘says here ‘He will account for every hair of their heads’ - which is a great comfort for guys like me …’ :rotfl:

he is an amazing priest!!!wish we could have him here in canada to give a talk!👍

“If you do not live and vote a Catholic conscience, then don’t complain that you live in a pagan nation.”

I like his term “serpentine semantics” in reference to many of the elites out there who try to distort language in order to deceive. i.e. pro-choice, planned parenthood, and pretty much everything from page 1 of The Screwtape Letters… 🙂 etc…

From a Lenten retreat:

On Leadership:

Lead by example
Education and formation for those in your care
Attitude- have and instill the right attitude
Discipline- no discipline, no victory
Empower those entrusted to you
Receive and respect (name removed by moderator)ut
Sacrifice- no blood, no sweat, no tears, no victory
Humility- no humility, no holiness, no heaven
Inspire those in your care
Plan, prepare, practice

Fr. Corapi is VERY GIFTED. Can’t verbatim remember quotes but I listen to him every chance I get. God has BLESSED us BIG TIME with him.

I have a quote for Father Corapi: “Pride commeth before a fall.”

He has left his order and is in a bad situation. Basically he’s being a self-centered, self- righteous pain in the rear. Yes, he was a good preache, and he could probably still be that. But he has turned his back on his vocation and on the vows he made. He really needs our prayers, and may he soon return to his senses.
