(Quran 33:4)
“Allah has not made for any man two hearts in his (one) body…”

مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ قَلْبَيْنِ فِي جَوْفِهِ
Alkurtubi commentary:
تفسير القرطبي:
قال مجاهد : نزلت في رجل من قريش كان يدعى ذا القلبين من دهائه , وكان يقول : إن لي في جوفي قلبين , أعقل بكل واحد منهما أفضل من عقل محمد

But in the following cases we find that humans can have two hearts!!!

Case #1:
“*George Lippert was born in Germany in 1844. In addition to being born with three legs, he was also born with two functioning hearts although that condition was unknown until is autopsy in 1906.”

“In the summer of 1906 George Lippert died of tuberculosis at the age 62. The autopsy revealed his two hearts and also showed that one heart died two to three weeks before his eventual death.*”

Case #2:
Doctors in the Georgian capital Tbilisi have discovered that little Goga Diasamidze from the Black Sea port of Batumi “has two hearts, one in its normal place and the other in the stomach area,” Interfax said.

Case #3:
Up to a few years ago Durr did not know he possessed two hearts. This was discovered when he called a physician to treat him for a slight illness.

Doesn’t that suppress any claimed miracle for that verse?

Oh my, is that another claim for allah’s scientific miracles in the qur’an? I really don’t know who told them to go for that line, but the poor adherents are being made to look silly when they are publicly refuted.

But then again, there’s nothing spiritual, nothing for the uplifting and improvement of mankind, nothing philosophical, and no one’s impressed with the miracle is the qur’an; I suppose they had to try something.

And all they’ve got to do is give up that slaughter, imperialism, slavery and superiority and barbaric fiqh, and … become Christian 😃

maybe its more of a symbolic meaning?
**Exactly, PeterKeys, that is what I understood after reading the very first post. Who claimed it as a miracle of Quran? No one. These things are metaphorical, symbolic. Not to be taken literally. It only means that man cannot serve two masters.

If Sam wants to see the miracle of Quran then he/she should read the chapter 112 of Quran which goes as follows:
  1. In the name of allah, the Beneficient, The Merciful.
  2. Say, That is Allah (God), is One.
  3. He is clear (free) of any need.
  4. He did not not beget.
  5. And He was not begotten.
  6. And there is none in all things equal to Him**.
I hope the matter is understood.

Yet another ‘scientific’ claim of the Qu’ran. And it can’t be symbolic, either, because it’s unthinkable for anyone to claim someone has two souls; Mohemmed would have know a man has only one soul, so if he was saying ‘serve not two masters,’ he wouldn’t have said, ‘no man has two hearts’. So he must be making a ‘scientific’ claim for the Qu’ran.

My reply: “You say it.”

Like Jesus when he was accused of being the king of the Jews, he replied to Pilate “You say it.” It meant “I do not say it and it is not true also. But you say it. I do not say it.”

3. He did not not beget.

Maybe the entity Moslems call Allah doesn’t beget.

But the TRUE God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit DOES.

The problem is, PetersKeys, that currently there is a great push to prove that the qur’an is from God based on the “science” in the qur’an. Only a couple of weeks ago, at a “Wipe Israel Off The Map Rally”, they were giving out islamic propaganda and amongst other things was a very colourful and pretty booklet which included “The Scientific Miracles of the Koran”
They claim allah knew and included in the qur’an for example : (amongst other things I’ve also heard):
  1. Human embryonic development;
  2. Mountain geographic knowledge;
  3. The scientific origin of the universe;
  4. The human cerebrum;
They are peddling this stuff to convert people to Islam. And, as we know, there are people who will fall for it.

They cannot claim a metaphysical description, a metaphor, a parable now that they have gone down this track. The qur’an can’t be both; however muslim’s on dawa will try and confuse you if you are not aware of their current propaganda tactics.

Planten, see my reply to PetersKeys above. You may not be aware, but the answer to your question of “Who Claims it is a miracle” is MUSLIMS.

The booklet is available online to download as well. But I am not able to link to the site on here due to forum rules.

My dear brother,superb thread .Carry on:thumbsup:

So here we see that Allah does not know about his own creation:rolleyes:

Most of the World mOslems are Sunni’s.they(now) mostly adhere to wahhabbi teachings(salaaffi/deobandhi too). they are bringing up a “revival” on koran interpretation.they says ,the meanings in koran is DIRECT AS SAID IN THE VERSES.again ,DIRECT VERSES,DIRECT MEANING.they call it “noble koran”.So ,what verses are found in koran means -the same meaning.🙂

So ,what is the use of backing on different interpretation?huh?Only thing muslima can refute is by claiming “read the previous and following verses”😃 LOL!

Especially ,I remember NDF,PDP here in kerala,India who are here to enforce sharia and wahhabbi practices(to make kerala talebanistan):

In the last 20 years or so there has been an organized push to turn the Quran into the world’s greatest scientific textbook. Maurice Bucaille wrote a book, ‘The Quran, the Bible and Science’ which is part of the strategy. A famous Muslim apologist is named Nakir Zaik, who travels around the world touting this drivel, and crowds just hoot and holler.

Its always the same with Muslims. They claim miracles, get caught using ‘taqqiya’, then run off and replan…and ‘Allah is the greatest deceiver of all’ [Q. 3:54].

** chrisse, You may be right. Some one may be claiming it as a miracle of the Quran. I do not do that and I feel that person may have his personal interpretation of the verse of Qurn. That has nothing to do with the truth.

I normally do not d/n load anything for reading.

If you are more interested in miracles or useful truths then you may please read the book “Bible, Science and Quran” by Maurice Bucaille…(A french man.). Peace.**

Alkurtubi commentary agrees with you, but today’s Muslims will try to make it symbolic after the discovery of the such cases.

However, some clerics don’t know about such cases yet, so they are using it literally as a scientific miracle of Quran (they appear on many Islamic TV stations).

** It only means that man cannot serve two masters.**
Is that Ahmadiyya interpretation ;).
**If Sam wants to see the miracle of Quran then he/she **
Almost one year here and still you don’t know if I’m he or she!!!, its only two clicks away (click on my name then click on the home page).

But I know you are like most Muslims, you don’t want to research or search for the truth, only relying on your ancestors words.

Let Nakir Zaik learn Arabic first before deceiving others ;).
