Bishop Cirilo Flores passed away peacefully at 2:47 this afternoon at Nazareth House in San Diego. At his bedside were his cousin Dr. Tom Martinez, Msgr. Steven Callahan and the Sisters of Nazareth. Please remember Bishop Flores and his family in your prayers. Details regarding the funeral rites will be announced as soon as they become available.

My prayers for the death of the bishop. May God grant him peace.
 
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen
 
He was a great priest, pastor and Bishop. I personally know him and he was always kind and humble. God bless you Bishop Cirilo
