Oh wait, it doesn’t make sense and you have no answer, so you’ll just respond with another programmed response like “You’re racist” or “Offensive!”. Lol, it’s like talking to a robot.

Are racist and/or xenophobic thoughts mortally sinful?
It depends. A sin requires three conditions.
  1. It has to be grave matter.
  2. The person has to have full knowledge.
  3. The person has to deliberately do it anyway.
For example, thinking you’d rather spend time with people from your own culture because you can better relate to them
Probably not. At a micro level, I prefer spending time with my immediate family over others. It grows from there.
or thinking your own nation is superior to other nations.
It depends.

Dude, you literally just defended a case (South Africa) in which Europeans did take over part of Africa and then, even though they weren’t numerically the majority, arranged to be the dominant culture there for another century. By that reasoning, if Muslims or Russians or anyone manage to become dominant in England such that they’re the ones building and shaping the culture, they deserve to deny the original natives a voice.

Not to mention, of course, that the original original natives of the island of Great Britain were the Britons, whose closest descendants are now called “Welshmen” (meaning “foreigners”) on their own damn island. They got shoved aside by some Germans, who in turn got dominated for some time by the French, and so forth. People have a right to their cultures, sure, but even without outright conquest, cultures mix and change. “The English” aren’t just white, or able to trace their ancestry back to the Britons/Saxons/Normans. Idris Elba is English. English Muslims and Hindus are English. (And, conversely, Charlize Theron is African.) We Americans likewise don’t get to wring our hands about threats to our cultural purity when we also displaced the actual people who came here when there was no one already here, and when “American culture” is literally made out of a mix of different immigrant cultures.
