I feel bad for you. Its no fun being stuck in a job that you don’t like. I can’t say that I hate my job (part-time while in school) but there are times that I just want to walk away. Especiialy with the pay. I’m a cashier supervisor, I make 7.95 an hour which I guess works for me. What makes me mad is that my 18 year old sister got a job 2 days ago in a minimal retail position and makes 8 an hour. I won’t get a decent raise until february when Ontario ups the minimum wage again and then I’m make about 15 cents more. It’s very frustrating.
DH and I live week to week, that is paycheck to paycheck. We live off of about $350 a month trying to pay off student loans. I understand that your situation is a little different but I agree with another poster. Your wife should try to help you as much as possible. Maybe she can sell some stuff on Ebay? I like the daycare idea. You have to take the high road here, dive in and start applying anywhere that fits your qualifications. Start thinking of possible career choices. Just keep your head up high. Everything will get better, especially with prayer and patience.
