Randall Terry's message to Pro-Life Leaders - Important

i guess some people don’t see it that way. i was really disappointed when my friend said this because she is Catholic and i would hope she would be a little more compassionate towards the unborn.

I ask again-I’ve spoken to pro-choicers who say they get more angry when they see this kind of stuff. It makes them think we’re the sick ones.

And maybe we are the sick ones for showing pictures like that in front of women and children.

You can be a pro-life radical, like me, without having to be as disgusting as Randall Terry seems to be.

It is abortion that is disgusting–Randall Terry bothers people because he keeps pointing that out in a manner that is too graphic for some. This is the rhetoric to which he refers. He is saying that we can’t be distracted into defending our pro-life stance because some wacko wacked a murderer. When I consider Tiller’s murder, I keep thinking about Jeffrey Dahmer–another mass murderer. The difference is that Dahmer didn’t commit legal murder. That’s why he went to prison, while Tiller made millions of dollars legally. Dahmer was killed in prison. Tiller was killed in a church. Which murder do you think is creepier? To me their murders are eeriely similar.

Should Tiller have been murdered? NO. Should Dahmer have been murdered? NO. But that doesn’t alter the fact that what they both did was unspeakable. We should not get drawn into defending ourselves because Tiller was murdered. Let the lawyers for the defendant do that. We have nothing to apologize for.

It IS what he was doing but I believe what he is saying is wrong… we have to make the argument in scientific fact if we are ever going to make it illegal. We can’t win a religious argument in court… everyone should now this.

While I’m sure many pro-life politicians don’t want this to end because they would lose their voting block, I’m starting to wonder about the sanity of some of our pro-life leaders as well. Do we want to WIN? of just keep complaining?

The reason why abortion has become so “acceptable” is that the vast majority of people have no idea what an abortion actually entails … it is a grisly “medical” procedure in which a baby is chopped up into little pieces.

If more women knew what was actually going on in their wombs when they had an abortion, there would probably be a lot fewer abortions.

One of the reasons for a decline in abortions is the use of sonograms, so the mothers can actually SEE their babies, LIVE, as they move around inside their wombs.

The presence of ignorance … just a simple “procedure” and “it” is gone … has led to the widespread acceptance. People don’t know and they don’t want to know. But when they DO know, they think twice about it.

THAT is the reason why pro-abortion and “pro-choice” advocates don’t want graphic depictions of an actual abortion or accurate descriptions of the “procedures” … if women see what is really going on, they will have second thoughts and possibly keep the child.

I strongly agree with your post. Do they really want to end abortion or have they gotten tied up in their own egos and crusade and lost the vision and the goal.

The kinds of sentiments espoused by this man will NEVER, NEVER do anything but hurt the pro-life goal.

Even if women see and understand the pictures, my 4 year neice does not need to scream in horror and have nightmares when she sees an abortion protest going on, and the graphic pictures people show.

The damage that those protesters do the cause I care about so much is repulsive.
